BLUE AND WHITE

Gym-ing is really giving me the pain. But I swear in the name of Saint Thomas Aquinas, I ain't gonna stop, never gonna give up! *so, what was that???*

Yesterday, on my way to the gym, at the overpass, I bumped with someone from my dark ages! It was Jerome Urbina, I was a Senior then, and he was just a Freshie back in high school. He said weird things like:

"Kuya Romir, Astig to ah, okay to ah!" while touching my million-dollar mane.

and

"Kuya Romir, hindi kita namukhaan! grabe!" while looking me from head to toe.

It was a bit creepy (have I morphed into someone I really don't look like?) but then I sensed some flattery. =)

Gawd I miss my Blue and White family, it was my most savory part in high school. I remember attending press conferences here and there. Fourth year was great; I won champion in the division for photojournalism, seventh in the regionals and I was a qualifier for the nationals. That was all in one year.

While Jerome was still egotistic, the same kid I knew. the editorial cartoonist who always got the top spot, but when he said "hindi nga ako umabot ng nationals eh," I had nothing more to say but to express my empathy.

I miss Preskons, I miss the ediboard and edistaff. =*)

I miss Tuguegarao! Christmas ay malapit nah! =)

Yup! I am gonna be hitting the gym, first time, after a year, again!
I hope this'll work for me, knowing the fact that motivation is at hand plus the need to lose pounds and see toned parts of my body is highly necessary! =)

I miss Tuguegarao. I miss my family. Christmas is really just around the corner, and so is my birthday. Gawd who could ever imagine Myrrh turning 19? =)

GO GRAND PRIZE!

I'm Über excited not for any regular reason, but due to the fact that I'm gonna be in for my first advertising contest [ADMARK]! My blockmates chose me and Carlo to compete together with some students from CFAD and COMM.ARTS. Wala lang, it's just one of the things that makes me look forward to coming to school everyday! lolx.

We're gonna be doing TVC's, recording, photoshoots for campaign materials and stuff. I just hope my work wouldn't be limited withing the bounds of formulating the marketing plan alone (read: touchpoint, branding, etc. . .) I wanna go hands-on with the more lucrative side! hahaha! We're gonna do it for this new brand of scent in the market, sow watch out.

Send me the best vibes so we could bag the grand prize! =)

HAVING A BREAK

I'm gonna be traveling back to Manila two hours from now and I can't afford not to post anything about my whole sem-break.

Blame it to Paeng who shot its horrifying deed directly on my hometown's region. No electricity, pure boredom.

So let me interpret it through pictures and a couple of captions! =)

what would be an October without Halloween? It was my first time to attend a street party @ malate so I had to plan well what to wear.


I thought I would look good as the meanest red-faced devil, bu then I thought I don't wanna look red.


So I thought of doing a tamer one - dressing up as a cute tiger cub! but I didn't want it either,


and then I saw this mask, but it didn't fit me, I began hating it.


and guess what I wore that night. . .


I was a fairy princess. I'd always answer to the question, "Myrrh, sino ka?" "ako ang Teen fairy Princess of the Enchanted Garden. . ."



of course, I joined my other equally gorgeous friends including two of my best sissies Myro, who was a cherub and miggy who played as an army man barbie version! lol

and there were other enchanted creatures too!


There stood the Justice League, but my favorite was Clark, who I got to take a pic with.


and there was the alluring Zsa Zsa Zaturnah

plus this plus-sized bo-peep princess


and the disturbing guy who played as the Our Lady of delo Rosa.

so that was Halloween. . .

I left Manila to spend UNDAS here at my province.


as well as celebrate my youngest brother's 10th birthday. . .


and to spend time with the rest of the family, including my little niece, Jarah. . .

All in all, my Sembreak was fun fun fun, minus the brownout and the summerly heat!
Sure, I'll miss my beloved Tuguegarao again, but December's Christmas break is just a corner away, I'll be back soon. . .
