parang debut ko lang!

More than anyone else, I think I am the most excited person on earth for my little sister's eighteenth birthday party which will take place in about six months.

I've always looked forward to seeing my sister enjoy her eighteenth year with the most important people in her life in a party that's elegantly flamboyant.

My Shobe would never cease asking me to prep up details for her party. I would then deliberately give my suggestions. Actually, I'm choosing among these choices:

Vintage (think twiggy, audrey hepburn, black and white, costume jewelry)
Oriental (obi-belts, cheongsams, red-black-gold)
Royalty (marie antoinette with her fur, tiaras, princess-cut dress)
Masquerade (feathers, glitters, metallic lamè)
Barbie White Party (Everyone's in white then my lil sister would wear this hot pink ball gown)


Sigh!

So many choices, so limited possibilities. I would want to throw her a party that'd be the talk of the town! every girl's dream debut party!

I have a few ideas for her ball gown - the one she'll be wearing as she enters the venue. Iba pa yung pang-entertain niya sa guests at yung pang-walk niya from one table to another.



These are few pieces from Marchesa, my new favorite couture designer who made JLo's fabulous gown at the academy awards this year. the first gown is Dior Couture last year pa yata! =)

and then we won

I'm running out of words to say. How I genuinely feel now cannot be explained, basta I feel happy, because after four batches, we made it straight 8-0 again.

Jusko! Warla kung warla kagabi! We were re-counting the ballots last night! It was so tiring, I came home 5am! SALAKOT's Chairman, who came in late should have at least had an idea about the rules we should abide with and work as prudently as possible. She was one painful migraine! I swear!

Anyhow, the fact that we had a landslide victory send shivers down my sissy soul.

Benchmark for next year is 8-0, which leaves me no space to perform better as next year's Chairman.

school gurl's back

and she's definitely gonna be an ass-kicking bitch

You see, I've been so lenient with regards to my schooling life these past few months. But now, I'm really gearing up to make the most of my college years. Mapa-academics man or extracurricular, I am genuinely driven to perform well.

Election for the local and central student council tomorrow. It's definitely a big event for me knowing the fact that I'm on the LAKAS side and I intend not to set myself apart from this lovely family (talk about gorgeous hot guys! hahaha) as well as believing that I will be the imminent Chairman for LAKASDIWA next year (breathes) which makes this year's result my benchmark.

I'm hoping to land a uni-wide org position next year, I'm thinking about applying for Jules' *blushes* executive assistant, but on the other hand, since I'm having a 1/10000 probability of getting picked, I might as well apply for cunning April's E.A. or as the Chief of Staff, same shirps, I get to serve the Thomasian studentry as well as be with Jules at the Council Office *more blush* hahahaha =)

My subjects are really killing me. two quizzes tomorrow and I still have not even a handful to pour on it. I got 98% in my last Math quiz, which, in all honesty is somewhat surreal! Heller?! Math?!! hahaha!

Guess what? contrary to what most of my friends tell me that boy, am I losing weight, I gained 6 pounds, again. Kasabay ng drastic change na ginawa ni Jonas of Bench Fix Podium sa buhok ko ang pagtaba ko. Shocks, Jobis - Jobis, Ang Jobis ko!

I miss my family, that's why I'm praying hard to God to help me get all-passing marks in my subjects, plus make my summer-dental-surgery successful so that I could be with my family again. I love them and I'm more than willing to be with them again! =)

Dear Myrrh,

I’m a devoted reader of your column and I’ve witnessed how you’ve made great counsels and guidance to other people. You see, Valentine’s Day is really fast approaching, and it’s really a big deal for me whether or not I would have someone to spend this special day with. My boyfriend, Rafael broke up with me two months ago and it pains me how I’ve came to realize that after two valentines I’ve spent with him, this year I won’t be able to experience the same feeling again. Rafael is already with some other girl now and our common friends say that they’d be extravagantly celebrating heart’s day in Ibiza. It then effortlessly says to my face that I’m single, no one to spend valentines with and no one to say those three little words to. I’m beginning to think that I’m ugly and that no one would ever dare to date me anymore. Please, Myrrh, I need your pieces of advice.

Thanks for making every possible way to read my column. Darling, having no boyfriend to spend the 14^th with is really not a problem. Actually, the big V day wasn't initiated for couples only - but for LOVE with every possible thought it suggests. Never say you have no one to spend Valentines with – You have yourself, and one of the best things in life is having all the time to build a relationship with God and yourself. So whether you're spending it with your boyfriend, your best friend, your friends, your family, or even with yourself, remember that for every thing we do tomorrow, we shouldn't only make it every 14th of Feb., instead, let's all make it a green light for us to show love from then on. Darling, here’s one more thing, stop convincing yourself that you’re the ugliest person on earth. You see, being single holds many advantages – it could be an outlet for you to reinvent yourself as well as meet other people and get to explore the various personalities each one holds.
