I COULD BE IN SHOWBUSINESS

WITHOUT EVEN KNOWING IT! =p

I just couldn't let this pass without blogging.

You see, we had an event last Saturday. Every gay guy on the planet (of course I am exaggerating) was there and I met a couple of guys who even complemented me for my d.i.y outfit.

Then suddenly, Kar, a gurl friend comes up to me.

Kar: Myrrh, grabe kanina narinig ko pinag-uusapan ka nung mga bading.
Me: Talaga? Anong sabi? Chismis ba ito?
Kar: Pinag-chichismisan ka nila, sabi nila nagbago daw hitsura mo.
Me: Bakit naman daw? Pumayat daw ba ako?
Kar: Oo! Nagpa-lipo or tummy tuck ka daw, they were like "look at Myrrh, either nagpa lipo or tummy tuck yan!"
Me: Nyahahaha! Mukha ba akong mayaman, Mona? hahahaha

Instead of being weirdly insulted, I felt unintentionally being complemented! ha-ha-ha! I'm soooooo pinagchi-chismisan, I love! =)

Hollywood Glam it is.

last night, we celebrated our first anniversary ate Fluid, an upscale bar in the heart of Malate. It was a blast, and as they say, Bagets painted the town red. The event had a Hollywood Glam tehem and the family agreed to wear white for the party.

I received numerous complements about my outfit which was kinda d.i.y. I was quite frustrated when I made the not so proper choice of buying an expensive fur coat when in fact, I could make my own clothes. Pero I got to wear two sets of outfits (the fur coat-racerback-jeans-chucks and froufrou-jeans-loafers) for the whole event. Nikki was kind enough pa to lend me his white shirt because my previous outfits were all filthy after hours of dancing (my coat got spilled pa with screwdriver)

I just love love love the party. Bonus pa when I snatched the Bagets of the Year award. It was totally unexpected. Kaya pala Pau didn't want me to check on the presentation if it's all well. Jusko. Dee had an amazing pole dance! Grabe it was really fun seeing my sis work the pole! I did too pero nagmukha akong laos na pokpok. Hahaha. Of course there were lots'a fishing, picture moments, retouch sessions and other cheesy revelations like the surprise for Mujang. I gave her the crown I won for Ms. Bagets. Hahahaha. Actually the crown was her's in the first place.

Thank you guys for the award. I'm genuinely overwhelmed. Making me feel that what I do has touched each and everyone of you really really touched me. Love you all.

And now, I'm gonna come home! I'm soooooo excited. I so miss my family and I'm more than ready to see my new niece Zuleika Chanel!!!!! =)

BLUE SPOT'S ON ME

Who would ever think that this moment would come?

I was elected as the new Chairman.

I know I would have not only the toughest but the more trying times in performing duties that require me everything I've learned in the past three years of being involved with the party. Now I feel I couldn't freely make decisions without being sure that it would evidently benefit the party and the commerce studentry while battling the reckless catapulting issues of the pinkies.

Believe me, the thought really sends shivers to my tralala. Beating a precedent 8-0 landslide victory is probably next to turning Miranda Priestley into the tamest femme on earth.

Abilidad. Hardwork. Career. Whatever!

Of course I couldn't go to war alone. My court would always be there. It's nice to know the fact that my Sec. Gen. is a close friend who would definitely keep the party going, my Legals is a brainy - tactically inclined kid, Logistics is headed by one talented young man and my Finance has the knack of budgeting (and even just plainly footing the entire bill! lol) resources.

I'm praying really hard for God to help me make the right decisions with this new endeavor I'm about to go through. I know it wouldn't spell easy, but I'm sure I'd manage to kick bony arses.

I know I will. I know we will. Through the most fair and square means, I know we will succeed.

RECHARGING

I'm still sick.

I've had fever for four days already and my throat is killing me. Yesterday, I managed to bring myself at the Health Service in UST which somewhat amazed me because I've never tried going to a doctor alone since birth.

I'm off class. It's really worrying me. Please please include me in your prayers. To be well soon and to spend the summer not in school.

Guess what? I'm an uncle x 3!!!


My elder sister gave birth today to a baby girl. She really looks like her little ate. =) Zuleika Chanel! Tito Myrrh loves you! =)

Makes me crave more of coming home.

I miss my family sobra that I wouldn't minds spending the whole summer there.


God, I pray, give me the strength and vigor to battle these trials. Bless my family and friends and our new baby Chanel with love, safety, happiness ang long life.
